Distribution Coordinator Needed in Santa Paula

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Role Length: April 2025 - December 2025 (may last longer)

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

JOB SUMMARY

Distribution Coordinator supports both Fresh Produce and Foods departments with shipping BOL's and balancing inventories at multiple locations. Process invoices for services and storage at multiple locations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Regularly perform the duties of a Distribution Coordinator demonstrating professionalism, good organization, and the ability to multi-task as needed.

  • Review and ship BOL's in System.
  • Balance inventory daily for Product and Material.
  • Receive Return to Inventory requests.
  • Order supplies such as Temp recorders, pallets etc. for multiple warehouses.
  • Support Fresh Avocado and Foods departments with questions on inventory.
  • Provide Monthly Inventory Reports for multiple warehouses.
  • Review and Receive Inbound Shipments in System.
  • Review and Receive Outbound Shipments in System.
  • Managing contract files for 3rd party warehouse
  • Review and Process Invoices for services and inventory storage.
  • Process Credit Memos.
  • May provide support such as data entry, preparing documents, reports, vendor reports, collecting data, sending out information, and other routine clerical duties.
  • Maintain Office Files & Spreadsheets.
  • May provide support for other departments with reports and process invoices.
  • Provide payment information to Vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

§ High School Diplomas or GED is required

§ One year of relevant experience in a similar position or customer service is preferred.

§ Proficient use of MS Office software

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Demonstrated ability to remain professional and diplomatic when working under pressure

§ Bilingual skills (English / Spanish) highly preferred.

§ Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

§ Must be detail oriented and demonstrate initiative to complete work timely

§ Ability to interact with a great variety of people at all levels tactfully and skillfully, often under stressful conditions
